Quaint rustic restaurant with some of the best food. Most of the dishes are gluten free and full of flavor. We had lobster bisque, shrimp tempura, shrimp and grits and the shrimp rice bowl and finished off with key lime pie. All full of flavor and portion sizes are generous. Highly recommend!!
Mateo was an amazing waiter/host. He reassured us that whatever we ordered would be gluten free. They are safe and understand cross-contamination. Our 3rd time here and gets better every time. Def try the boom boom shrimp!!! We got that, the mahi and shrimp platter and clam chowder. The best part....... GLUTEN FREE DESSERT!!! Gf key lime pie and recess peanut butter pie!! 10/10!
Amazing seafood spot! The portions are big, the flavors are incredible, and the prices are very reasonable. The food came out fresh and full of flavor. Great value for the quality and size. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! Recommended: shrimp nachos!
We stopped at this restaurant after staying a few days in the Keys, and it was nothing short of fantastic! The menu may seem simple, but they let the quality of the ingredients and the flavor speak for itself. The fish and shrimp were all fresh and well-seasoned. We highly recommend the Blackened Mahi and Shrimp Platter. The service was excellent, and the staff were all very kind and accommodating to whatever we needed! And all at a reasonable price, especially for a place that gets so much tourism. Stop by and you won't be disappointed!
AMAZING little hole in the wall restaurant!!! The shrimp basket is lightly breaded and FILLED with shrimp, even the half pound maker. The seared ahi tuna tacos with mango salsa and wasabi aoli are OUT OF THIS WORLD! The key lime pie with graham cracker crust was also on point! The quality of this food AND at this price point was truly a lucky find on our vacation. Thank you, Twisted Shrimp for our favorite meal of the week!
This place was awesome. Let's start with what we ordered. We ordered a bucket of shrimp, that was equal to 24 shrimps. The batter is a very light corn meal and it comes with 2 sides. So worth it. The kiddos ordered an OG burger and some kids fish. They enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place. There is more parking, which is physically on the old highway. It was so much better to leave from here, than the front, especially with the street construction going on right now. Let's talk about the key lime pie. They told me it's made in house and it was great. Not too sweet, not too tart.

So glad we stopped and it was because of the reviews. Really good food and not your typical Sysco fare. Pictured is the Shrimp rice bowl with fresh mango salsa. Great flavor!
